The food was excellent!
Nice little rustic Austrian restaurant with a small local menu, friendly host.
Perfect! Tastes great! Great service! Bye for now!
I reserved a table for 2 people via email. When I asked if there were vegetarian * main dishes * in addition to the mixed salad and the Kasnudeln - according to the menu on the homepage that doesnβt work out - I received an - for me - unacceptable and less customer-oriented answer ("But who else maybe Fancy vegan is wrong with the Austrian! "). Apart from the fact that I did not ask for vegan food, I find this feedback for a restaurant in Berlin Charlottenburg in 2020 just a shame. And I would like to judge for myself whether I am wrong or right. The operators would benefit from a more professional tone in their writing communication and should not consider meatless alternatives as a burden, but perhaps as a way of increasing sales. Thank you.
recommended and very cozy atmosphere
Excellent Austrian food and excellent service. A restaurant to relax and enjoy. Absolute recommendation for everyone who appreciates delicious food in a quiet atmosphere.
Super delicious food and super nice service. For everyone who does not know Carinthian cuisine a must!
Unfortunately had to cancel my reservation on Valentine's Day, I even canceled there 2 hours in advance. Was brushed off with a "that's pretty uncool" sermon. Gastronomy thrives on courtesy and guests only come back if they are not turned on!
Have a very nice evening here. Owner-run restaurant, here the guests are treated very individually. I would definitely go there again. Had KΓ€rtner fried chicken and Kaiserschmarrn for dessert. Simply divine. Delicious.
To serve the onion roast, one of the most expensive dishes, on a breakfast plate ..... Note: the eye eats too !!!! He also required very good chewing muscles. That was nothing.
This place is a treat for body and soul. Very individual hospitality paired with culinary delights.
Food a palate feast and the location is very comfortable, ..... I am satisfied.
The food is excellent and the service leaves nothing to be desired.
Wanna be in Austria, but you are living in Berlin. Visit the Josl and eat the delicious food.
Support your local Kaiserschmarnsupplier!
Nice food, nice wine, nice waiter
Nice restaurant with very friendly host, who also always served in the restaurant. The meal was excellent. The portions could be larger, but with dessert the especially hungry ones were fed. The beer comes from a private brewery from Austria, as well as the limos and the really good "schnapps". Especially the attention to detail in the selection of products and food convinced. We will be back.
Just the best food I had this month. Great discovery :)
Class food. Great service. Flo loves his business and you can tell. Patricks cooking admire all, by pleasurable silence .... I only say Kaiserschmarrn.
A delicious organic wheat beer from Austria drunk on a terrace.
Would call this a hidden gem. Small restaurant, daily specials, friendly staff. The roast rump comes with fried onions, potatoes and salad. The kaiserschmarrn is definitely the best one ive tried yet. The raisins that come with it is soaked in rum(?), and really fluffy.
The restaurant offers Austrian specialties. The service is friendly, but the taste of the food could not convince, as it moves to cafeteria level. In that regard, the visit is not worth it if you want to enjoy good Austrian specialties.
Excelent!
Fantastic service and suprisingly tasty food! Please write an english menu π
Fantastic service, wonderful food
This little restaurant serving Austrian fare is one of the best sites you can visit while staying in this area. It boasts traditional Austrian decoration inside and of course the owner, Florian who is from Austria, will make you feel incredibly welcome. If you are looking to grab a beer, wine, or a large hearty Austrian meal...then this is the place for you.
Nice shop and friendly service. Food was delicious, only little things are missing to 5 stars. Kaiserschmarrn was quite unusual, see photo.
The best Austrian food in Berlin. I had the Kasnudl (almost better than at home !!!) and the wild boar. There is also Hirter beer! A must for anyone looking for a familiar, Austrian flair.
Authentic Austrian restaurant with a very cozy atmosphere. If you want to have Wiener Schnitzel you have to order upfront via phone. The menu is small but delicious. The service is nice.
